We began seeing Dr Patterson a few years ago as he has experience with neurodiverse kids. Two appointments ago, a random dentist came in and performed our exam, zero introduction, less than stellar bedside manner. I was hoping this was a traveling dentist. During our last appointment this same dentist performed our exam. Again, zero introduction. Very disappointed in this practice. We started coming here 3 years ago. We put up with the constant 20-30 mins in the waiting room despite making appointments, this happened nearly every appt. I've been wanting to change my son's dentist and today's experience was the final nail. Went in for 2 teeth extractions for stubborn loose teeth. They added another tooth extraction to the bill that was never discussed and is not even loose. Tried to charge for nitrous when it was also never discussed. After 10+ years of loyalty, I’m done. This used to be a reliable part of our family’s care network. But earlier this year, during one of the worst mental health periods of my life, I told them I wasn’t in a place to handle insurance issues, and instead of compassion, they pushed harder.
