I had to use Aurora for a second time and billing billed me $1000 for an appointment with a Nurse Practitioner for 15 min. I was given all the excuses. I asked what CPT codes were used as I am cash pay. I was given the ring around and told they charge comparable to other regions. No you dont. This community and its people cannot afford to see a Nurse practitioner for $1000 let alone a specialist if need be if simple care is $1000. Ridiculous.
I am so surprised with the negative comments. I personally have been a patient here for 30 years. All if the doctors i have seen are very professional and knowledgeable. They have have taken very good care of me in all aspects of visits. I've used the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, lab & x ray. I've been a inpatient and had outpatient surgery. I think I have used almost every Department and have been very satisfied with the service. The staff are very helpful and kind.
