This review pertains to my experience with Dr. John Korger. I have been seeing Dr. Korger long before he joined Aurora Behavioral Health. He is an excellent doctor, very knowledgeable, kind, attentive and he listens. He has always made sure I was allowed plenty of time during our appointments to ask questions, discuss options and get his feedback and recommendations. I’d give zero stars if I could. Avoid Aurora BH like the plague. All they wanna do is pump you full of medications for money. They will happily put you on medications, but as soon as you want to come off, no where to be found for support -which is a very dangerous situation in some cases. Zero support for when you come off meds. It’s the most irresponsible gross misconduct of a hospital I have ever seen. They can’t even backpedal correctly to save their own Backside. I have been tossed around with referrals (even waited months for a specific referral, only to be finally seen and told that they referred me to the wrong place, and put me on a wait list AGAIN.) I am done with Aurora.
