made an appointment 1 hour before i went, was seen almost immediately when i came in. the tech was very nice as was the dr i talked to virtually. ended up with an antibiotic prescription and recomendations to follow up with primary dr due to high bp.
The worst ! Only staffed by a med tech that needs to be in text contact with ???? To get the apt set up . For a rapid Covid test it took over an hour of her figuring out what to do. Granted I am the grandma and wanted grandkid tested but I asked first thing if I needed the parent and was told no. Then 30 min later after texting with??? Told yes. Never come here for urgent care. You need to sign in and set up an appointment. The earliest appointment available when we walked in was 2 hours out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but URGENT care can't wait.
Showed up as this was the clinic that my insurance indicated would be best to get a quick walk-in appt to but they aren’t even open.
Scheduled an appointment for “anxiety and depression screening” via the dropdown menu. Today, an hour before my appointment, i received a call from the NP stating that they couldn’t help me with this. Not sure why it’s an option for scheduling if it’s out of the NP’s scope? Anyway, not only did they state they couldn’t help, they urged me to go to urgent care?? like the whole reason people use the walgeeens clinic is for low cost and urgent care is more expensive and still wouldn’t actually help me? don’t waste your time
