My counselor himself is GREAT but the set up they have to get a hold of my counselor is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating
I just read they are closing the Aurora Behavioral inpatient treatment center. I can't believe this place is still open!! I spent a few days here 14 yrs ago & have had PTSD since. I was admitted after a failed suicide attempt. At the time I was battling a very rare disease. I was going through med trials & in extreme pain 24/7. They put you in with the people who are there to detox. The group sessions all geared toward addicts. I've been working with this company for many years. The nurses are very friendly and understanding. Everyone there just wants to help you better yourself
The intake person was aggressive and accusatory. Didn't appreciate the crappy treatment. July 2025 Was told that I could go without medication, "hundreds do", and it's not a life or death thing. By an rn. Prior authorization takes "up to 4 weeks". Wholly unacceptable.
