Very friendly family owned bbq, great tasting just a small little place off the freeway, easy to miss it. Get there earlier they sometimes run out fast.
The brisket frito pie was amazing. Huge portions for a great price. Came with a side and a drink. I got the corn and it was delicious. Can’t wait for my next trip through town to try the po boy. Staff was very polite and attentive, thanks for a great lunch!
“Say hello to the Pig”. My husband always said as we drove by on our way to Rockport. We love this place. The brisket and ribs are delicious! With excellent side dishes. The restaurant has been remodeled to provide clean, spacious, air conditioned seating inside. The owners and staff are always gracious and they appreciate our business. We moved so that we don’t drive by The Pig anymore, but we find excuses to drive north and visit Aunt Jo’s. There is NO better BBQ anywhere around. The BBQ is great! Lots of flavor. The sweet lady that greets us when we come in is an absolute delight! Very knowledgeable about the menu, and very attentive.
