How can I rate when they wont even return phone calls I have called this clinic a minimum of 3 times to inquire about neutering for my cat. I was even so bold as to leave a message asking if they in fact returned calls. I have as of yet to hear from them. Is this how they do business? I dont know, I am certainly skeptical at this point.

Then do something about it! From what I have read here so far is that people are criticizing the building and parking the most. Hamlett has had a donation can sitting on the reception counter for as long as I can remember. Many people do not realize that Hamllet Spay and Neuter Clinic is a Non-profit Organization. They are relying on our help as pet owners and members of this community to help them get that better building and parking. I can only assume that the staff are not paid as well as the staff at your fancier vet cli... read more

Horrible experience Terrible decision scheduling my cat's spay here...I got there at 8:50 for my 9am appointment and after 30 minutes of sitting there, 2 attempts to speak to the receptionist, and still not having even been CHECKED IN, I left. The receptionist could not have acted any less interested in me or my cat and didn't even look up when I approached the desk but instead just kept pretending she was busy. I've never been treated so rudely and with such disrespect. I can understand the economy is bad and if you hate yo... read more

Great Job Hamlet. I took my sweet little kitty there last month to get him neutered and they got me back in a good amount of time. In the back It was clean and tidy and the other cats looked happy for the most part. They let me say good bye and told me he was going to be fine. When i picked him up that afternoon there was a blizzard coming. I was worried that he would have to stay there overnight, but they called me at two in the afternoon and said i could pick him up. Your not supposed to pick up until three. I thought it wa... read more

Great and Necessary Service I've taken my older dog to Hamlett for vaccinations a couple of times and I also had my two cats neutered there. I utilized the low-income neutering which was free of charge with prove that I was low-income (Proof of SSI reward in my family's case). I simply had to pay for the necessary Distemper vaccine which was at least 50% less than most vets ($15). Everyone there was very nice and even though my kitties were pretty cranky when I picked them up they didn't disturb them and let me calm them dow... read more

Loyal Customer for 15 years I have taken MANY of my family pets to Hamlet Spay and Neuter clinic for shots to Spaying/Neutering. This includes cats and dogs. I have had all my pets sterilized with this clinic and have never had a single problem or issue. Their staff is wonderful and the convenience has always been a plus (not having to make appointment to get shots) I am not saying that the other listing below are not factual or that they didn't happen, but maybe what many do not know is local veterinarian doctors are the on... read more

Over a Decade of Thanks! We've take our cats and dogs for shots and spay/neuter here for over 13 years. They have a kind and caring staff, and we get great care here. My cats and dogs are in great shape. Keep in mind, this is a specialized clinic for spay, neuter & shots, so you need a your own vet for full service care and treatments. Remember, just bringing in your pet for shots doesn't make them healthy if they already have something going on inside. I know that it is a clinic setting, and that I will have a wait of some ... read more

Our dearest 'King'... We took our beautiful Great Dane, King, of 5 1/2 years to Hamlett Spay and Neuter clinic this week to help him take his last breath and pass on to the other side. I want to say how caring and sensitive the entire staff were in assisting us through this difficult process. They came out to our car so King wouldn't suffer the additional stress of being moved, they carefully explained the process and told us what we could expect, and then they very gently and quietly gave him the sedative...Of course it was... read more

If you care for your pets don't bring them here This clinic is NASTY!! They are like an assembly line for spay and neutering. They spay and neuter the pets too young. They are sloppy and just plain bad. If you care for you pets, bring them to someone who care about them too!!
