It is a great place for families. Children of all ages can learn about and experience the value of our natural world.
Great and friendly staff. Loved the short drive and all the different things you can do there.
The Summer Earth Adventures are wonderful for children.
The farm is Wonderful. The Apple Festival is my favorite.
I grew up at the center and farm. My family lived in a house an easy 5-10 minute walk from the center. It always was a safe and welcoming place for me to be. From going on all the walks offered and bringing in insects we found at home to be identified, I learned how to identify pretty much everything that lives on the grounds. Volunteering with them taught me a great deal about conservation and wildlife rehab. Just amazing, just beautiful and one of the cleanest parks I've seen. My husband is soooooooo fond of this park, that he has to make sure to include me on his trip to visit...Just no words on the scenery....
Today was our first time visiting. We all really enjoyed it and will certainly be back!
My wife and I had a great time with our 5 year old grandson who fell in love with one of the barn cats. The dwarf goats and kids, piglets, donkeys and horses were nice but he couldn't wait to go back to the barn to see the cat.
This is in regards to the Aulwood Apple fest, since they don’t offer reviews on their page. 🤷🏼♀️ Don’t waste your money. We were looking forward to coming for Apple food/desserts. I didn’t see anything Apple related, except for Apple butter, bags of apples, and Apple cider. The ice cream that was advertised tasted like homemade ice cream you would make in kindergarten lol.
