The Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm is incredible ! We have been to many nature centers, arboretums, and zoos etc. but Aullwood is the best we have ever seen ! Their location, facilities, and educational programs just top notch ! If you ever get the chance ? A must to see !
The best place to visit when you want to be involved with nature and learn all you can about it. The center and the farm are wonderful. Just sitting in the bird-watching room or bringing children to get involved in all the activities, this place is a joy! Over forty years of visiting, I never get tired of it.
Staff is always friendly... the facility is a great place for kids. I would suggest the ideal age range is preschool to pre-teen. If you are new be sure to visit their farm, and their Nature Center (right around the corner). You can hike back and forth between the two sites. My kids have taken summer camp for the past 3 years. Their camps are awesome!

great learning experience for kids an so many things to do
The people were all very nice, they welcomed my dog, the exhibits were fascinating, the bird observation room was so peaceful, and the whole place is totally delightful!
If you have kids, you should take them to Aullwood whenever they have one of their festivals. We went to Applefest yesterday and my kids loved it.
