Auli'i Construction has helped me with several construction/renovation projects since 2005. This includes the building of two cottages and renovation of a kitchen and bathroom. The owner, Mike Chun, knows his stuff and is one of the nicest, most honest people you will meet in the industry. Cost-wise, Auli'i is not the cheapest nor the most expensive construction company on Oahu but their work is first rate. I would not do business with this company. The owner never responds to any email. He came recommended, brought over a whole bunch of subs to provide an estimate. Estimate came back, I asked for a breakdown and revision he never responded. Then I get an email from his secretary asking if I had questions. I say yes and Mike didn't answer them. Oh may I ask what the questions were so I can follow up with Mike. Mike is in and out, just had cataract surgery, yada yada, yada. It's still been a while and she's asking for my patienc... read more
