BEAUTIFUL If you can get in, GO, its worth just 5 minutes on the grounds!!! The Masters are awesome, most locals leave town and rent their houses out but when I lived there I stayed and enjoyed it to the max. I go by there at least once a year and its one of the most beautiful places you will visit! I lived 2 blocks away riht behind it and it was so quiet you never knew that there was such a world class club not even 100 yards away....AWESOME!!
Stunning. I was very fortunate to receive several invitations to play there over the years with friends that are members. You've seen it on CBS for the Masters, right? It's every bit as profound and more to play and see it in person. :) The staff couldn't have been more enthusiastic to have me there and the premises were breathtaking.
I love this golf coarse I have lived in Augusta for about all my life. I must say it is what Augusta is known for overall is the Masters! One of the biggest golf tournaments in the world. The greens and fairways are amazing. I am proud to say I live in a place that is known for it's famous golf heroics. My friend even saw Tiger Woods at Publics. The tickets are hard to get but if you can get them you are very lucky!
When you say Masters and Augusta this is THE place. A lot of tourists are under the impression you can just walk in, have some tea, buy a shirt and take some pictures. sorry but you can't! One of the most beautiful golf courses in the world and one of the if not the most exclusive, washington road surrounded by high hedges and bamboo, secluded to the world and it's neighbors but the whole world knows where it is.
