The company did had some trouble with the FDA warning BUT the device itself is very safe and effective to the people who use it. When you purchase the $495.00 PRESCRIPTION system it came with the a life time guarantee along with numerous tension tings. Yes you can go online and find systems that are similar and possibly from the same company (Augusta Medical Systems is the only Company that manufatcures and had Medicare billing privillages) but when you are buying from a different website you might not get all of the pieces ... read more

Forget ordering from them unless you want to pay an extremely high price. After prostrate surgery, I was prescribed a vacuum device for ED and given a pamphlet for Agusta Medical Systems to order from. Total charge for the device was $495.00. Even though my insurance was billed, I recently received another bill for $95.00. After doing some research, I found the identical kit for $139.00 (see link) http://www.diabetessupplies4less.com/auviprmavaer.html Total ripoff.

Augusta Medical Systems was just recently given a warning by the FDA for safety concerns in their Vacuum Therapy System called the "SomaTherapy." Not only did they receive a warning letter from the FDA but they were recently sued by Medicare for fraudulently billing over $600,000 in unverified claims through Medicare.
