Let me start by saying that I haven't sought mental health help in 10 years due to horrific treatment by past doctors. That changed yesterday when I saw Noel Dianas-Huges & Laura Cook. They cared. They listened. They helped. After 10 years of suffering in silence without a glimmer of hope, they were there for me on my very first visit. There are no words to describe the depths of my gratitude. My experience as a new patient with Dr. Hilton's practice was deeply disappointing. There were several concerning issues with both communication and professionalism. Initially, I submitted required forms twice via fax, which were received but not processed. Dr. Hilton claimed she couldn't complete them due to not knowing me well enough, suggesting I book another appointment. I have to admit I hated Augusta health for a long time. I ended up here under some very difficult circumstances. The staff made me believe in the impossible. I'm standing here today because of the entire staff of crossroads and I will forever be thankful for the strength, love, discipline, structure and knowledge of everyone who I interacted with there. I’ve been to both inpatient and outpatient groups and many a therapist. I am so happy here I could scream it from the mountaintops! They’ve done a huge turnaround and have some new policies and Darlene Hilton is a doll. No therapist has ever taken me under their wing like she has. She’s my one on one but I appreciate all of the therapists there and the work they do for IOP. Shoutout to Campbell! And the rest.
