Got my hair done by Arlene, and was super disappointed with the results. Both times I have gone to her i required a second session to fix any banding or yellow. First session she recommended a permanent dye to bump my base, which i expressed concerns over but she disagreed. Second appointment, the concerns i expressed were very valid as the permanent dye created a lot of banding and would not lift. Leaving me with uneven patches. I booked the Scalp Treatment Service expecting a more comprehensive scalp and hair treatment experience. However, the service provided felt quite basic and did not include certain elements typically associated with a luxury treatment, such as scalp exfoliation or a scalp mask. Lavender has been so great and I’m so glad I took a chance with her back in August. I was in need of a new stylist and August Salon and Spa came up on my recommendations. She’s very communicative, attentive to detail, and truly takes the time to make sure your hair comes out right like you asked her from reference photos. (Honestly, even better than them tbh) I would highly recommend her and will continue to return for all my haircuts.
My girl Alliah does it every time! If you’re hesitating about trying something new, I would highly recommend Alliah. She is so sweet and welcoming!
