What they do right - they collect and report monthly payments on the note we hold. What they *don't* do right - they have only ONCE in 2 years returned a call. Whoever they have answering the phones never knows the answer, they always take your information and say they will have someone call back as soon as possible, and that call never comes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE SLUM LORDS!!! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND PLAY STUPID, ADD UNGODLY AMOUNTS OF FAKE FEES, THREATENING FAMILIES OVER $10...NEVER RETURN CALLS. CHARGES FEES TO PAY EARLY!!!!! TAKES YOUR MONEY AND PUT IT IN A "RESERVE" SO THEY DONT CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT, AND PUT YOUR MONEY IN "IMPOUND" WTF IS AN IMPOUND FOR MONEY??
Horrible customer service, when I first acquired service with them they were nice, but once I switched with them a complete turn around. They are very unprofessional they are disorganized, messed up my payment plan dates. They don't send notice letters or emails when they make changes to your account. Just bad experience after bad experience. I do not recommend. I will be changing as soon as I am able to. Do not make business with August REI.
