Augie’s has Always been one of the finest Italian restaurants in the area. Always clean always fresh always true to traditional Italian cooking. We order once a week from Augie’s to go in Saratoga. My family & friends have been patrons since he opened on RT 50 and we will continue to enjoy his food every chance we get. Second visit a year apart. Very disappointed. Three of us ordered cold antipasto, mozzarella sticks and chicken and veal sorrentino. The antipasto was the best thing. The chicken and veal sorrentino seemed like it was precooked and it wasn’t hot. Service was sketchy. Long wait for drinks and appetizers. Our table was near the ladies room. There’s only one stall, so the ladies waiting we’re near us. Not really the experience we were looking for. All in all it was just okay.

My family and I had dinner at Augie's this past Sunday, and...as always...it was fantastic! We had the T-bone steak, chicken parm, the kitchen sink (of course), and fettuccine alfredo...oh, and cheese cake for dessert. Casey was our waitress - she was fabulous! I would love to know the secret to the fettuccine sauce that doesn't get lumpy!
The service, food ( LOTS OF))) was above and beyond what my husband and I ever expected!! We were with the 50th Wedding Anniversary Party yesterday ! I highly recommend this Restaurant to anyone who hasn't been there to try it! You all got an A+ in our book and we will be visiting you again with our family ! Thank you all again.�
