We had Augie's cater our wedding on 9/22/17, and we could not have been happier with the food, service, and prices! Leading up to the event, they were helpful in answering questions and accommodating our requests. We had a Friday wedding, and had a buffet with fried fish, baked fish, and chicken cordon bleu for our entrees. They fried the fish on site, and it was absolutely amazing - hot, crispy, and perfect for a Friday night! We will never go back! The staff, including the owner, were very rude on more then one occasion. The food is eh at best, especially for the price. We have eaten at other Perkins and really liked them. We live in the next town over and don't even considered it when deciding where to eat.
The food was great, the service was spectacular. Checked on our table number of times. Definitely will go again! !!!
We went there for an after baptism meal.. our hostess was being assisted by some newer employees, which is fine, however her constant gloating and mentioning her being so much better than her "helpers". Augie's Elite Catering was just okay... when we taste tested, we loved the food! Leading up to the event, they were helpful when contacted but seemed somewhat unorganized and someone different always seemed to be the contact person. At the event, the food was simply okay. We had the beef tips, which seemed dry and many complained of only getting 2 or 3 small pieces on their plate, and the chicken cordon bleu, which was good but it was a very small portion. Food is always wonderful...I've never had anything that I didn't like! The staff here is fabulous! Highly recommend this place, especially in Watertown, WI.
