We bought the AugBrella beach umbrella anchor Sept 2014 to use on New Smyrna Beach. The ocean winds can whip up & your beach umbrella can go airborne in a moment without notice - not since we bought the AugBrella auger for our beach umbrella. We have used it frequently for two years and it has held up perfectly! Don't waste your money on the plastic $10-15 sand anchors, they pull out of the sand easily & don't hold up under windy conditions. We purchased a beach umbrella recently from Aughog, after purchasing the AugBrella auger anchor 2 years ago (love it). The umbrella is well built, a 6.5 foot diameter canopy with silver spf 100 lining. Much cooler under the spf umbrella than one without spf. The fiberglass ribs are sturdy & won't rust on exposure to sea/salt air but hold up to the ocean breezes. It can be tilted plus has a knob to adjust the height of the umbrella. Good product at a reasonable $50 price. We will definitely purchase another one.
