We have a 2024 Mazda CX90. We have had a couple of issues - one was caught on a routine check up and the other was a faulty hybrid battery. In both instances, the service department was excellent. They were friendly and prompt and were GREAT at communicating with us to resolve the problem. The battery issue occured when we were out of town over the weekend and we had to leave it at the out of town dealer. I've been a mazda owner for about 13 months now. I purchased from Auffenberg and get all maintenance completed there. I've been nothing but overly satisfied with the service that I receive from the team. They are always cordial and forthcoming with information regarding my vehicle. I would definitely recommend their service team to anyone with a mazda! The only thing that I feel could improve is them having hours on the weekend (Saturdays).
Scheduled an upgrade to CX-5 infotainment firmware after receiving a recall notice. The upgrade was free, and went perfectly. Added on a coolant flush, as it was due based on time for service (mine not theirs). The process went well. They added a multipoint inspection and identified some areas to keep and eye on for future maintenance. Overall the cost was slightly higher than I had expected. I would give negative stars if I could. I leased a car here and later found out they had added nearly $7,000 in hidden extras without properly explaining anything. I signed on an iPad and didn’t see the breakdown until it was too late. When I tried to cancel, no one at the dealership returned my calls — not the finance team, not the manager. Edit: Blake Mercurio reached out to me personally and explained there was a misunderstanding about us needing the coating to be approved for the loan. He is reimbursing us for the full cost of the ceramic coating. Told us we needed to purchase an add on for a $1200 ceramic coating in order to be approved for the loan. Later when speaking with the loan company they informed us that was a lie, and that add ons are never a condition for loan approval.
