I’m writing this as a wife who is devastated by what my family has gone through because of Auffenberg Ford. Less than three weeks after my husband traveled an hour away and bought a truck from them, the check-engine light came on while our children and I were in the vehicle. Warning chimes went off, and the truck suddenly limited itself to 62 mph on the highway. It was terrifying and completely unsafe. After an arduous search for a new truck I landed on Auffenberg Ford in Illinois. I'm an Missouri resident but they had the truck that I wanted. 2 1/2 weeks after my purchase the engine light comes on along with various warning chimes going off in succession and the vehicle speed is automatically reduced to 62 mph.
