I’ve been to this doctors office literally hundreds of times. I forgot about my appointment today (for the first time ever btw) and when the woman called me she was extremely disrespectful. I apologized 10 times and instead of telling me it was okay, or that she understood, all she said was “sure”. Its unacceptable that your office staff thinks it’s okay to speak to your patients like this. It’s not even like my missed appointment affects her day at all.

I had an amazing experience at ACMH. Being burned many times as a T1D with providers with lack of understanding in ERs made me very worried. They reassured me the entire time and were knowledgeable about it as well as open to listening to what I wanted. They didn’t stop at taking labs when they came back normal, either. Jackie, her nurses, the radiology dept, CRNA, and Dr Maire were all incredible. They found the issue promptly and I was in surgery yet that night for a lap appy. I have not had a single good experience with this hospital. Yes the people are nice, but do they know what they’re doing? Probably not. A family member of mine was sent coughing up blood and short of breath for days to the point of anemia and oxygen saturation in the 80s. The X-ray showed pneumonia and the patient was not informed of this diagnosis, was sent home with an inhaler and a zpack that doesn’t even target the type of pneumonia this patient has.
