I desperately needed sleeping medicine because I'm bipolar and hadn't been sleeping, which can cause mania for me. She proscribed a $500 Rx that insurance didn't cover and refused to prescribe anything else because "that's what she thought would work"(!) There are dozens of sleeping meds, she caused me to end up in the hospital because I couldn't sleep for weeks. She should have to pay my bill.
Maryland mental health care has to be the worst in the country. The system has let me down my entire life
Had my 1st appointment at 8:15, arrived 15 minutes early (as requested) it's now 9:43 and I'm still waiting. Receptionist said "they are running behind" yet im the only person who has been in the waiting room the entire time.
