I have used Dr Echt's practice for approximately 15 years on an as needed basis. Since the buyout of her practice, it is all about the $$. Most recently, I called to schedule an appointment for a procedure that I had performed by this staff twice previously. When I arrived they had scheduled me with a different PA than had performed the procedure previously. Have been going here for over ten years. The office was always rude, snobby and often unprofessional. But we really favored the care we would receive from Dr. Gassemian. I’m not sure what has happened but he seems totally burnt out. Last couple of office visits have been very rushed and his positive bedside manner is gone. Also, Dr. Gassemian used to be dressed very sharp and clean cut. Now it’s scrubs and his hair is unruly and unkempt in a man-bun. It all feels dirty. Excellent! Dr. Echt is professional, kind, and smart. Stephanie, the nurse who assists her, is delightful. As busy as they are, they always take the time to be kind and provide excellent service. Because of Covid19, I asked to wait in my car and be called on my cell phone when Dr. Echt was ready. This worked perfectly.
Apparently they've been bought out? I've been going here for several years (and paying extra as they were not a preferred provider) and was very pleased. In the last 6 months their front office staff, while very nice, are unwilling/unable to help me with billing questions and the place you now call in Nashville, TN is equally unhelpful and rude on top of that. I'm changing offices as of today.
RecommendedI’ve been going here for the past 14 years... I see Holly Martin at least yearly for my annual scan, and she is very thorough and professional. Growing up in Daytona Beach, FL when there was no such thing as SPF, I am paying the price now for all the fun in the sun I had back then... but Holly and Dr. Echt have always taken care of me very well, being proactive when they can to eliminate or reduce my risks for future issues. I highly recommend this practice!!
Another Mohs procedure 😔 one word “SUNSCREEN” I debated showing this but it’s to show the reality and consequences of going unprotected in the sun or deliberately tanning in Tanning beds or laying out at pool, beach or wherever with no sunscreen. I have many scars on my body attributed to Basal Carcinoma and who knows how many more will surface. So when you see me out on public this is why I look like this. Thank God it won’t stay looking this bad and will heal with time.
I've been a patient for acne/rosacea issues and then for annual skin checks, for several years. I've always had a good experience and recommend this practice.
I have been seeing Dr. Echo for several years. She and her entire staff are the best of the best. Dr Echt is extremely thorough and takes her time to explain everything. No stone is left unturned.
