My water pump failed in my 2018 A4 audi so I called the service department and they did a recall search and found nothing. They did not tell me that the water pump warranty was extended to 8/80,000 due to a lawsuit so I'm out $2000 because of them. I called Audi america and found that information. Don't know why Santa Barbara Audi couldn't give me the same info. You figure everyone working either office or service advisor should have the knowledge for something as important as that. I would exercise caution when using this location for Audi lease service and maintenance.. A friend recently brought their Audi Q5 in for its required 2-year inspection and left extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience. Several basic maintenance items, including a tire rotation, were not performed, yet the service department attempted to recommend and sell additional services that should have already been covered under the lease agreement.
