I went for a perm and without really seeing my hair for the first time, recommended a product that was brand new and not yet used on anyone. It ended up burning my hair, they left it on longer because it would not curl and said they wouldn't because it would damage my hair. I wrote a letter to ask for a refund because it was the first perm to never create a curl for that length of time, worse in breaking your hair and burning it off. They never responded.
