When I call the phone number I am never able to get through to anyone to even set up an initial appointment .....
Dr. Alfers is incredibly attentive to the needs of his clients, and truly concerned for their wellbeing. He asked repeatedly during our first appointment if there was anything else he could do to help me, aside from prescribing the medication that we choose together based on my history and what I have taken in the past. Dr. Alfers has been my therapist for the better part of 3 years and has been truly helpful. I came to him while I was struggling with ADD/ADHD issues at work. Within the first few sessions Cory quickly learned how to communicate with me and we were very rapidly able to put a plan together. I never felt like he was passing any judgement, which made it very easy for me to speak my mind. Dr. Alfers is great! I found him after my primary care Physician advised me that my ADD assessment was over 20 years old and asked me to speak to a specialist before continuing to prescribe my very outdated meds. I found Dr. Alfers on Google and made and appointment. Let me stop my review here and say, if you are looking for a doctor who will tell you what you want to hear, or blindly prescribe the medication you are currently on, look elsewhere.
