The blame sort of falls between At&t and Capital One here. We were in the middle of trying to get cell phone service established with them. After taking our payments, the supervisor came on and basically canceled the transaction. However, the money is still being held by Capital One supposedly until 4/29 as both parties still view it as a pending transaction. Times are tight and for Capital One and At&t to play games like this and hold our money hostage is unacceptable.

I have an outstanding bill on my credit report and there is "NO WAY TO PAY IT" CANNOT GET IN TOUCH WITH A HUMAN. Two days trying to pay a bill and "NOT POSSIBLE"

For consideration, I had an amazing call with a representative and loyal department. Her name was Latrice. She did her best to accommodate. After being on the phone nearly 40 minutes, Tiffany did not. An agent added a second line on my account. Yes, to authorize this to help me get access to my iCloud account. That did not work and canceling the line with return returning me those things should’ve been easy. I have to be transferred to do a review and the phone hung up on me. I am not OK with how they run the operations.

My husband passed away in January of 2026 and I informed AT&T via telephone conversation to close out his account. I send them a check to pay off his phone and requested his cell phone number to be closed. I have been struggling with them for over 3 months because they cancelled my phone number, closed my account and are now refusing to unlock my telephone number. I sent them an original certified death certificate, but they insist on sending him invoices and ignoring me. I will never recommend this carrier to anyone. Oh, an... read more
