Atrius Health is a superb medical facility with excellent customer service from the front desk to the demeanor of the doctors. The parking lot is small, and pay by phone. not easy to find parking. congested area ro drive in. once parked, easy access to the building
Easy to get to and local
Doctors are fine most of the time, but lately I’ve noticed more MDs seem resistant to parents being actively involved in their child’s care. When I asked a simple question about how to measure a pediatric heart rate, instead of answering, they responded, “Why are you doing that?” Well… because I’m a parent.
Hours are inaccurate - They say they are open until 8. I stopped by this evening at 7:50 to run in and grab a prescription that is ready. The entire building was locked up. Either they are open until 8 or they’re not. If they close at 7:45, the hours should reflect that.
My first experience with Atrius health was in Somerville with Dr. Ion. I felt right off the bat that she was looking to just cross me off her list and move onto the next patient. I did not feel like she had any genuine care about the issues that I had and didn’t go into any detail on fixing them. We decided to do physical therapy with one issue which I found out later They don’t have any physical therapist for me.
