Awesome team work heart tower. My sister had reconstructive surgery and the team for ICU room 813 on August 25-26 was awesome. So caring and met her every need. The staff even checked on me. I can't remember all of their names so I put the dates and ICU room #. Emily and Nadia are the BEST. Thank you again for taking such good care of her.
I agree with Karen Shaw’s review. There are some good trauma doctors and the physical therapy department was good. But the nursing staff/tech staff are awful. I would never leave a loved one by themselves at this hospital. You can ring the nurses button and you could have a loved one go down to the nurses station, and it may be three hours before somebody will walk into the room to see what the need is. A doctor might order a breathing treatment and tell you they will be in within 30 minutes. But six hours later they walk in... read more
I've met some fantastic doctors, some are at this hospital, including Dr. Roe and his neurosurgical team. And I've noticed there has been some positive changes in how patients are treated there, however, this hospital still is lacking in empathy and understanding that people walking in the er are actually asking for help. I've been dealing with months, close to a year now of having lab work that is always slightly off, but nobody is raising the alarm bells except me.
