Bottom line: Do not use Pine Pointe facility if you want your loved one to receive comfort and care at the end of life. I was appalled at the neglect of my mother at this facility. She went in for a respite care and came out much worse shape than when she went in. We have no recourse because the results of the neglect (a fall, sodium imbalance, and constipation) are not related to her hospice diagnosis (a stroke).
