Had to have a c-section here. The doctor who performed it made several crooked cuts before making the original incision. I developed a hematoma on my incision, nurses rarely came to check in. My husband had to empty my catheter bag. They did not manage my pain at all after a serious surgery with complications and I only got Tylenol. I had 2 of my kids at a different hospital and my third here and it was the worst, most traumatic experience ever. This place needs to be investigated.
I had my son in June worst mistake in my life . I had to have a emergency c section. They left the epidural in my back overnight to run pain medicine through my back . (I had my son at 749pm) So , that morning they took it out my back . I was numb still , about an hour or so later I gained some movement back in my feet & legs . I had my baby boy the other day on Friday the 13th I got released from here the 14th they forgot my dinner lunch and dinner at least once and when I was discharged I asked for some milk samples to take home bc it was already 6:30 at night they neglected to give me any and also I asked for ice chips from everyone the tech and nurse and never got it my support person that was with me ended up having to go get me some my midwife was Jordan from midwife of macon she was excellent she was shocked I arrived 9cm dilated and was ask... read more
Having my baby in this hospital is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I was in labor for 4 days. When I entered at 6 months dilated they gave me an epidural that only covered one side of my body and the nurses didn't call the anesthesiologist. They forced me to push for over two hours. The anesthesia ran out of my body and the machine that tells you the anesthesia is about to end had been beeping and warning you that the anesthesia would end for a long time. I delivered my son here earlier in April. Came from Women’s Specialty Clinic with Dr. Holmes and could not be more grateful for the experience provided to me here. All of the nurses (Jackie, Amber, and Greer) were so sweet and helpful and every other staff member I encountered were as well. The BIGGEST shout out to the nurse that helped me deliver, Riley! She kept me fully informed on my progress and next steps while also making me feel so comfortable. Thankful for such an amazing experience!!
