My uncle has been here for almost a year and all I see is a decline. They’re making him appeal almost every week now just to stay. He can barely stand on his own and therapy has “maxed out” according to their admin staff. I asked about his sheets being changed just last week and this lady who resembles an old chuckle doll said someone would help him but 3 hours later and nothing.

My mother in law was at Jesse Helms center for 3 days before signing herself out AMA! The nurses & aids that she had were absolutely HORRIBLE!! My mother in law was a fall risk so she couldn't get up to use the bathroom without help, for this reason she was wearing depends. She pressed her nurse call button for help getting to the bathroom. When "help" arrived all they did was turn off the call button and then proceeded to tell her to defecate in her depend and that they would be back later to clean her up!!!!! I’m sad to say this place has changed a lot in NOT a good way. My grandpa does not receive the care he deserves AT ALL.

My Dad was there...gave Jim to much medication at one time...almost killed him.

I am appalled by the insurmountable amount of corrosive metal and rust on the IV stands. Such is extremely detrimental to a patient's safety and poses an infection risk. The proof is in the pudding. My family members and I were sent pictures by another relative along with cuts and bruises of our loved one. Our loved one had opened, scraped and cut wounds from the usage of the said stand. Was a tetanus shot administered to my family member? Was an incident report filed? This was definitely sheer negligence. This is unacceptab... read more
