This place is an embarrassment. We brought our 5 month old up here as he was vomiting aggressively and acting delirious. This after several days of diarrhea. We can't get him to keep anything down and he hasn't peed in going on 10 hours. And were currently well into our 3rd hour in the waiting room. We had no choice but to come here as it started around 7pm and there wasn't anywhere else open that could treat him. I'm worried about my son but they are barely moving patients along. If I could give this place 0 starts I would! My mom came to the hospital at 12:30AM this morning on 5/29/2026 for having trouble breathing and coughing. They did xray, blood work everything in the waiting room she did not get a room until 5:45 this morning. No doctor came by after blood work was back, nobody told her that she had pneumonia, hypoxia and possible sepsis. We had to find everything out via MyChart. Absolutely the worst emergency I've heard of or been to in the country.... If I could give zero stars I would.... check in at 10pm on Monday and still at the lobby at 2am on Tuesday morning. Thought since the have a children department, it would be better to come here directly versus the Emergency in University which usually refers some cases here for more treatment if needed but shot myself in the leg. Made a phone call in mental health crisis. Told them I was in crisis and I needed my meds. I was told they would not prescribe them. I explained I was physically hurting myself without these meds. I was told again they would not prescribe them. Not sure why the ER exists if not to help folks get their meds in crisis? Still off my meds, still hurting myself, and still have no one that cares to help. Thanks.
