I absolutely love the care my Grandfather gets at this facility. The Director and Activities director of Life Guidance are absolutely wonderful with all of the residents, as are all of the caregivers. I always feel they truly care about my grandfather. He is always treated with respect and dignity. It doesn't matter what time I "pop in" for my visits, he is always clean, his room is always clean and they are always there to give me an update on his day. I have been an employee here for almost six years and it is the best place I have ever worked. We are all family here and we treat each other as well as our residents with respect. We do have new mgt who are going above and beyond to see our residents and employees needs are met.I would bring any member of my family here to live on either AL or LG side and feel perfectly content knowing they are well taken care of.We are Atria strong!!
If you have a loved one in the memory care at this facility keep a close eye on them. My stepfather was there for about seven months and was doing alright until they hired a new director of that section.who seems to have no experience with Alzheimer patients...he called us almost daily with complaints about how our stepfather was "too active" calling his doctor daily as well. He pushed the doctor to give him medicines to calm him down...the result was that my stepfather was given a very powerful medication and had a bad reac... read more
