For the first time in New York City, you can now have authentic Buffalo wings. Sure, some places serve things they call wings, but to a true connoisseur it seemed criminal that in a city that has everything, there was not an authentic Buffalo Chicken Wing in sight. Now that's changed: Atomic Wings has arrived! ATOMIC gets its wings fresh from Buffalo, where the chickens are unusually big as well as tasty. Then we prepare them as they were invented in 1964 in Buffalo. The result is unforgettably good eating.

Best wings ever! – these guys have the best wings ever. went in for their 'suicidal' level of hotness, and even though i was returning to their water cooler every bite, i couldn't help but finish...
9 wings for the price of 10! – I've been here on two different occasions where myself and another person at my table have ordered the 10 piece wings. When the food came, each of our plates only had 9. They probably assume that nobody will actually count the number of wings on their plate, let alone call them on it. I think this is the norm at this place and I hope they they change their ways. The wings are great and all, but it's not good business to consistently cheat your customers.
Good Wings – Along with the other location at 2nd Avenue, this place probably has the best wings in the city. They also do great burgers, and they even have a few Mexican items on the menu. They'll deliver as well, and it gets there pretty fast.
Agree with previous - BEST WINGS in the city! – Great if you're around mid-town/Chelsea. I work on 50th and they deliver to our building all the time. The wings are the BEST I've been able to find in Manhattan. Great selection as well - Wings, Salads, burgers,etc..... It's a good atmospher in the restaurant as well verse the average run of the mill place in that area. I also agree with the previous guy about the daily soups - my personal favorite is the crab chowder - but as they say - to each his own.
Gotta love Atomic Wings – Great wings - I'd say best in the city, easy. DIff levels of hotness in the sauce makes a great selection, or i like the honey mustard and bbq as well. Also - if someone in your home wants wings, and someone wants fresh fruit salad, or a chicken caesar salad - they are very accomodating and have selectrions on the menu beyond their flagship wings.
Best Wings in NYC – These are by far the best wings in all of NYC. Personally, I like the abusive, but if you like your wings really hot, try the suicidal. They also have amazing burgers and sandwiches. My delivery came in about 10 minutes and everything was perfect, I was even able to have a pint of Ben & Jerry's brought with my wings. So if you're looking for some REAL buffalo wings in New York, you've got to try these.
a reliable lunch – I don't see why a previous reviewer hated the wings so much - they are pretty good and the shoeshring onion rings are great. I've been going to Atomic Wings for lunch every week or so for a couple of years and I've always enjoyed it - gotta love the Niagara Falls wall!
