Older hybrids can be tricky. I like to troubleshoot as much as I can before I take a vehicle in to the experts. The vehicle was worth 1500 and the wanted 1500 to replace the battery fans. The fans cost around $600. So the labor is around $900. The job is probably a 30 min job at most. That is where they recommended starting. This would have easily been over a $3000 fix if I would have went with them. So if you are looking at used vehicles beware a low sale price could end up costing more the double the vehicle cost.
My 2010 Prius had the most annoying squeaking noise coming from the back of the vehicle. I sent them a video on their extremely easy to use website, and as soon as I scheduled something, someone was already texting me some advice on what to do before coming in. And this was when they were closed! I run a preschool and work long hours. I rarely get a lunch break of over 10 minutes and there’s never an appropriate time to hop on a phone call with children constantly around.
