The buying experience was typical of any dealership. I had to make them drop the $350 dock fee and $1000 in "miscellaneous" fees. Less than 50 miles later the vehicle is in limp mode. I took it to the mechanic to have the codes pulled which showed that the check engine light had been cleared shortly before I purchased the vehicle. It is hard to believe that the dealership didn't know about the issue, since "someone" cleared the check engine light right before it was sold. Atlas Motors Inc does not care about car buyers’ safety! My wife and I purchased a secondhand car (Chevrolet Cobalt 2007) from Atlas Motors Inc on the 2nd of August 2013. According to the dealer the car had been fully inspected and was safe to drive. Living in Elko Nevada, we drove back home on the same day from Salt Lake City (230 miles). I used the car to drive to work (8 miles per day) for 1 month and a half without any problem, then one day the car refused to start on the parking lot at work.
