Poor customer service. During the discovery call, Amanda came across as very condescending and spent more time lecturing me about employment laws than actually trying to understand my business and what I needed help with. A week after I had already submitted payment and reports, she declined the project due to being understaffed. Where do I even begin? Amanda and her team are outstanding. They are responsive and easy to get a hold of for any questions or concerns. As a first time small business owner, tax language is like a completely foreign language to me. Amanda has been nothing but patient and informative with me during the entire process. Poor customer service, lack of knowledge on reporting settlements/legal matters, limitations with their tax preparation system on adjusting 1099k reporting for personal v business expenses (costing me thousands more in taxes than needed if filed through them), etc... after speaking with multiple attorneys, it was clear they did not know what they were doing and it was at my financial expense.
