The rooms were dirty and nasty. The sheets were previously used and not changed. They had animals in the room at some time and they DO NOT vacuum! I didn't even see a vacuum on the housekeeper's cart! Crumpled up straw wrappers underneath the fitted sheet! Bug crawled across the floor! Globs of hair and toothpaste on shower walls!! I had an allergic reaction as I have terrible allergies to animals!! I make this post heavy hearted but with the intention of being fair. I’ve been coming to the Atlantis for 25 years. It is most certainly a far cry from what it was then. The Good- Check-in was seamless and we had no issues with the staff. Due to the low occupancy we had most of the pools to ourselves for hours at a time. This hotel is a dump. (We paid over $200/per night, but I see now they price gouged for the holiday weekend). Everything is filthy and nothing works. The pool and common areas are falling apart, cigarette butts and beer cans lying around. Thistles growing on the pool area. pool is dirty and moldy and falling apart. Neither hot tub worked, the waterfall didn't work. Rooms are disgusting, and doors banging all night/day. While there is definitely room for improvements; we greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Our room was extremely clean, and I was also offered DAILY housekeeping services, which is very unusual after Covid! Rooms and balconies are a nice size also. All in all it was a great value for a very nice room, we loved it so much we actually added a few days to our stay. 7 out of 10; Would Recommend
