Went there a few times after a day on the beach. Generous portions, friendly and attentive staff, great selection of all your comfort Diner food! Highly recommended!
The food was great and so was the service. The waitress had the perfect balance of knowing when we needed her and bringing the check-- vs-- sometimes when they are over-solicitous and interrupting the meal and conversation--or worse, ignoring you.
I was called "JEW" by one of the owners because my boyfriend and I received the wrong order twice and informed the waitress. This guy displayed very unprofessional behavior making anti-semitic slurs, and I'm not even Jewish. We had to call the police because he became so irate with his insults and fowl language. I see from Reading other reviews on other sites that he is crazy. Stay away the service stinks in the food is lousy.
Portions are huge, food isn't worth going back for. Food lacks taste and spice, very ordinary, good for people that just want a full belly and don't care about why they're ingesting. Quantity over quality. Waitstaff was friendly but they make mistakes. I've tried this place a few times, no more. Makes me miss real good old diner food.
