5/8/2024 Came to Mainland Hospital at Pomona around 5pm, now 7 pm still waiting in the room for doctor. Dr came, after that 7:33 pm a new nurse came to place some fluids, took some blood, the other nurse left, was a change of shifts, a nurse was complaining at the outside counter/desk of the bad time she had with a patient and everybody in the other rooms were listening to the whole story, hoping to leave soon. 9 pm waiting for labs, nurses playing soccer around 8:50 pm, return ball by kicking back out of my room. This is the worst hospital to exist for how they treat women AFTER labor. I know women dont have options when ur ready to give birth but if u can go somewhere else .... Do. Go to Shore Memorial if you can. This place will spit u out and not give a care about u once you pop out that baby. Even waiting to deliver, we were lucky to have one nurse that actually cared enough to fight for my needs cause everyone else wouldnt listen. They will work to discharge you as soon as possible. My care was not bad at atlanticare however a huge part of medical care is the financial aspect and their billing is horrendous. Im recieving bills over a yr and half later out of no where...so much time has passed that I have to figure out what it was even from. If I didn't HAVE to use them for coverage purposes I wouldn't. Not to mention they will take their sweet time... 1.5 yrs to bill you then start to harass you with phone calls to pay the balance the same week you recieve the bill. Had spine surgery on 8/19/2026. Dr. Wilt performed the surgery, he was great would highly recommend him. Stood overnight and I was very comfortable, the nurses were great. Hospital room was very nice and clean. Great experience. Thank you all that were involved.
Extremely Disappointing ER Experience at AtlantiCare I am extremely disappointed with my experience at AtlantiCare Emergency Department. We came to the ER because of severely elevated blood pressure readings (202/113 and 190/114) along with chest pain, which understandably made us very concerned.
