I am furious with this facility and the lack of communication. My husband was voluntarily admitted to the One Pine unit. I was contacted by a “medical student “ - this was her wording. She obtained medical history and said she would communicate it with the medical team. The next morning I received a call from the Social Worker advising me my husband was being discharged within 2 hours. When I expressed my concern and shock, her reply was “you talked to a doctor “. You will need therapy for PTSD after visiting this hellhole. These nurses couldn’t even draw blood correctly. My arm is bruised and it looks like I shot heroin (which I’ve never done—I’m just trying to emphasize how horribly they injected the needle.) Any nurse with basic training would know to pull the skin taut. Instead, a nurse recklessly stuck the needle in with no concern; just an incentive to get a patient in-and-out. Garrett R.
