I am a nurse from out of state that was visiting the area. I had acute gallbladder problems. I went in, didn’t even sit down in the waiting room was taken right back. I saw a doctor right away. My nurse, Jennifer, was very sweet. She had my IV going and pain meds in super fast. I was taken back to my ultrasound in a few minutes. The doctor was thorough in explaining my scans. This facility genuinely should not be operating in its current state. My mother was transported here by ambulance after being involved in a motor vehicle accident, and the level of care she received was alarming. When she arrived, the facility appeared nearly empty, dark, and severely understaffed. Despite the fact that she had just been in a car accident and was still wearing a cervical neck brace, staff (the DOCTOR and NURSE) were pulling on her arms during X-rays in an attempt to obtain imaging of her C7 vertebra. All I can say is what a mess the nursing staff is rude
My daughter brought me here for a problem with my foot and everyone was very attentive. There was hardly any wait. The facility is extremely clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and thorough. On another day, I brought my fiancé in and again we had a very good experience. I’m not sure what the other negative reviewers have experienced because I would always come here and I’m generally not a fan of the other Atlanticcare facilities. This one is top notch!
HORRIFIC experience trying to get a follow-up mammogram here after my insurance changed with the new year and the place I had the regular baseline done in Dec was no longer in network. I knew I had to have the records from Dec and I did. I drove an hour to get there and then when being asked medical questions (already having the gown on), they refused to do the test without records from prior years and sent me home (after I already paid $800 to have it done).
