My wife went in for a simple rod inplanted in her leg by one of the Rothman Institute doctors and after stressfull hrs of testing, confusion and delay of surgery they took her to the OR waiting area and while there they had to rush her for a catscan to see why her blood pressure suddenly fell low. The catscan showed she had an artery aneurysm in her belly that erupt and she was bleeding to death. A couple of hrs latet she died right there in ICU. All I wanted to know is why and how she came to die from just a simple schedule... read more

I went to the emergency room department for my daughter that was 3. they got her to a room fast but she had a 102.5 fever, she also had complaints of stomach pain and symptoms of a thick mucus cough. They discharged her home with a 101.3 fever which it still considered a fever, they didn't write her any scripts for her coughing, and didn't further evaluate her stomach pain. My care from AtlantiCare was wonderful. The staff was attentive and amazing from the moment I went into the ER to the time I was discharged. Every staff member who attended to me was pleasant, showed concerned for my health, and made me feel comfortable there. My concerns were met with patience and kindness. My room was cleaned and maintained every day. The custodial staff was also very pleasant.
