Great views and great service!
We found the staff very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the location fantastic.
The Atlantic View Hotel is the perfect spot at Dewey Beach. It just went through a complete renovation, giving it modern boutique hotel vibes. From the pool to having direct access to the beach, the hotel had everything we needed for our stay. The staff, including Tamieka, made our trip extra special by being so kind and inviting. The breakfast buffet, happy hour drinks and snacks, and the sweet bites at night were the perfect touch! Definitely want to visit next summer!
I cannot give a recent review since the last time I stayed there was in 2014, but had vacationed there 7-8 times before then, the first way back in 1987, and it was always awesome (thus my 5 star review)! The "office" was way smaller but big enough to get your free breakfast and sit out by the pool (I still have an index card "From the Kitchen of The Atlantic View Hotel" for "Cup Cake Eggs".) I've been staying at this hotel for years and this was the 1st time my reservations were so messed up. I didn't get the room I was suppose to get, plus I was on the 2nd floor and not the 3rd floor. The rooms do not have microwaves and the refrigerator is very small. It's for beverages not for food. It's the 1st year under new management. Hopefully all the kinks will be worked out by next year. The staff was awesome and easy to work with.
