Before we moved to Daytona we had timeshare here and now use it for our children when they come in the summer. We love the large living area. We all take our meals together and there is plenty of room to do that, and if you should get that rare rainy day you arent cramped in a small area. The place is clean and close to food shopping.Each unit has a wrap around balcony and the view is wonderful.Daytona is the best beach to walk and the Sun Glow Pier is a short walk away.
Paid for the wk of 9/2/11 at this condo only to find on 8/12 two weeks + prior to our stay that it was under heavy construction. When we booked our week in May the condo was undergoing inside upgrades which has mostly been completed. Now we find the balconies are not accessible nor the is pool and outside amenities when const. work is in process. In order to even get to the beach one would not be allowed access thru the pool area but would have to exit out the front door and walk around the property to get to the beach. In m... read more
Its A Family Place! Not A party place. It has great views and We have been going here Since I was 13, I am now 40 and still look forward to going every year! Nice big rooms and friendly people.Great location, and the people you meet will seem like old friends!!
PS they have a scam going 2 get people to bail out. Call it slander I will come 2 court anytime U want. resell my place. Run Run like the wind. Untill I can get 1 Monkey with 12 a brain to run this scam again. I/m going 2 be a pain in the butt. RIPP ME OFF I WILL PISS YOU OFF
Checking in was real easy. The front desk personnel were very nice. Mary Jo was the best. We were in an A unit on the ground floor. This was to our liking because we had two 3 year olds in tow. If we were at the pool (which was directly beyond or patio) we could just go right into our bedroom and come right out. The suite was HUGE. Very laid back. The surrounding area is a bit run down. Staff was available on a very limited basis. Front desk staffed form 8 AM to 4 PM and when there they are not very willing to help if it requires more than an answer to a question. We requested a couple extra pillows on Saturday and were told by the person at the front desk that she was leaving and we would have to wait till Monday since there would be no one there on Sunday. RCI has this listed as a Gold Crown resort but its not close. The units are quite large and the staff is very friendly but it is in desparate need of updating and cleaning. The good: We had the worst roon location and still had a nice view of the ocean. Nice, friendly staff. A good location. Very large units.The bad: The carpet was badly stained and stickey. Mold in the bath rooms. Old toilets that didnt work properly. Over all updating and cleaning needed. We would not return.
I loved how friendly everyone was there, including the staff and all the guests that seem to have been coming for years and dont like to trade to other places. Great for families and just romantic couples. The rooms have giant windows with a view of the ocean on most sides, balcony is big the whole side of your room.
