It’s All About the Money for These Two Dr. Antonio Decarli Atlantic Surgery Center On May 23, 2022 I was scheduled by Dr. Antonio Decarli for a routine colonoscopy at Atlantic Surgery Center in Daytona Beach. The sheet I was given by Decarli’s office said to check in at 11:45 for a 1:00 colonoscopy. By 1:00 I was on a bed with a backless gown. I was still there at 2:00. Still in that same bed at 3:00. Having a spinal cord stimulator placed at this location was the worst thing that happened to me since the birth of my first child 52 years ago. The staff was rushed; it was like a factory, cleanliness was at the bare minimum and the doctor, rather than being kind and helpful, was rushed and brusque. I was terrified in the operating room and was given not one once of kindness. A mistake in an injection, sent fluid into my spinal column, resulting in a horrific headache.
