I was gifted a used violin and have intentions to learn how to play but figured I’d need it tuned first. Stopped by Atlantic Strings and Nicole helped me out in grand fashion. From listening to my beginner-ish needs (turned out to not even need a tuning) to offering me practice advice and providing a list of local teachers to contact as well. The shop was charming as was Nicole. I will not forget her kindness or knowledge and will be back as any needs arise!
Brought an old family violin in and was quite impressed with the care and attention it got. We are new to the whole violin thing my daughter just is learning. Was able to get a reasonable case, bow that she loves and a fully tuned and ready to play violin. Thanks so much for taking care of us and it. I'm a Bluegrass fiddler and I felt comfortable at Atlantic Strings. I bought a great carbon fiber bow from them that I love and the work is excellent with reasonable prices. I recommend them to fiddlers who need to find a reasonably priced Violin shop who won't look down their nose at fiddle players and their needs....great place!
The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. I had taken my father;s violin that has need of repair: strings, bowhead, and other items The repair cost was reasonable and fast. I would recommend them to anyone.
