Great place to live. The staff really cares and has great empathy for the elderly residents. The residents are open, friendly and caring for each other. This is the most friendly community I have lived in for years.
Atlantic Shores is an amazing neighborhood for so many reasons, but mainly the heart of both their residents and staff. They give back to each other and the community like a true family, and with a vital sense of purpose. Atlantic Shores is not just a place to live, it's a place to come alive!
I have been with Atlantic Shores as a temporary employee for 5 weeks now. It's been a very enjoyable experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the residents are wonderful.
As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by smiling face after smiling face. The staff and the residents are all so kind! You can tell everyone is genuinely happy to be there!! It's like one big happy family. There are events daily to keep you busy. Many restaurants to choose from on site. And anything else you'd need is just a phone call away.
My son and I were there for a luncheon with the Virginia Beach City Sports. The staff, the environment and the food were amazing.
