I just witness one of their drivers cause a near accident driving recklessly. I would not want my household goods being jostled around with no regard to care and safety.
This is my 4th PCS move and it has been the worst moving experience by far. First when they were supposed to pick up my household goods, they mixed up the days so I didn’t have enough time to pack the essential items I was gonna take with me. Second, when the packers arrive they left some items unpacked saying the guys who were to load my household goods would pack it and when they arrive they weren’t tracking they were supposed to do it so they had to cross load a bunch of items because they didn’t bring boxes for that. Consumer beware. Terrible experience with Atlas in Tampa. Was told furniture would be wrapped—it was not. Over $600 in damage, but I have to pay a $500 deductible! Never heard of such a thing. Was told multiple times that Management would contact me to discuss issues—but no return call, zero follow-up. Wished I would have gone with a different, local company.
I had a very very bad experience with this company and would strongly advise against hiring them. They are great to get you to book the job but customer service and the movers are a complete different story. The movers took apart my baby's crib and our bed to fit in the truck but at our new home they left them only partially assembled so that they would look done but they were barely standing. Contracted with one company in Tampa and then they passed us off to another division in Sarasota. Thought they were doing a good job until the end when they were trying to fit everything in one truck. Badly scratched a kitchen table top (which they didn't wrap). got to destination and put in claim to have table refinished along with several other small items. Been dealing with Atlas claims. I thank y’all have no concerns for other people’s property. I hope all people see this. I have called sent email. I have to pay to fix. Your mess you need to hire drivers that can access the situation. Before they drive. I am sure y’all made money off the neighbors. And you costing me plenty also. So thank y’all.
