My grandparents came to the mechanic to have their car pass pink slip to renew rego. Car was already serviced by another mechanic less then a year or due at 168000 km currently at 163000 km and the mechanic said that they must service the car in order to pass inspection and allow them to renew rego! That’s a big lie! Car was already serviced and they don’t need to have car serviced! But still they had to pay for servicing on top of that!! This oil does not meet Ford WSS-M2C960-A1 specification. This means that it will be unsuitable for late model ford turbo boosted cars. They claim to be full synthetic but why do only local mechanics use this oil? Big service centres and the dealer does not sure this brand. If you take your car to a big service chain, they will give you a 12 month service interval. Local mechanics who use Atlantic oil, only give a 6 month service interval.
